How to buy Indian Railways train tickets from outside India without a Indian mobile number Recent changes, requiring a local mobile number has made it difficult for people to make online train reservations for Indian railways from abroad. Most people, who live abroad, do not have local Indian mobile phones. This new mobile phone requirement, has left many foreign tourists fuming as they now feel they now, cannot make their reservations online. I contacted the IRCTC and found that online reservations can still be done from outside India, even if you do not have a local mobile phone number.   For more information use the link provided below: How to how to buy train tickets in India online if you don't have a local mobile phone >>
