ARRIVAL CARD FILLED BY ARRIVING PASSENGERS
Changes with regard to Arrival (Disembarkation) and Departure (Embarkation) cards have been made for passengers arriving at or departing from Indian
airports.
With effect from March 1, 2014:
•
All passengers of foreign origin (foreign passport holders) arriving in India from abroad
are required to fill in the Arrival (Disembarkation) Card for clearing immigration.
•
Foreign nationals when leaving India no longer have to fill Departure (Embarkation) cards
•
Indian nationals, are now exempt from filling Arrival card.
•
Indian nationals when leaving India, however are required to fill Departure (Embarkation)
cards.
The sample card shown is usually handed out before landing in India. In case you do not get a landing card or loose it while entering the airport terminal,
cards are available in the arrivals immigration area.
